The idea of communicating through internet was introduced by Leonard Kleinrock. The internet was created at first from scientists and engineers for military purposes in the 1960s. Later on scientists used it to communicate with each other. The internet that is used in today's generation was invented in California during the summer of 1968 by computer scientists Vinton Cerf and Bob Kahn. Now the internet is used for many different reasons. It makes our lives more convenient to shop online, manage our finances, do research, and of course communicate better.

The World Wide Web, is a collective term for any publicly accessible websites or pages that internet users can access on their local computers and other devices. Users can access the linkages between these pages and documents by clicking on them to access more information. Sir-Tim Berners, a british software engineer invented the World Wide Web in 1989.The reason he created World Wide Web was because information founded on computers were scattered everywhere, and you had to use different computers to access different information. Today, World Wide Web is used to share data.

There are similarities and differences between World Wide Web and the internet. The pages you view while online at a device are known as the world wide web. However, the internet is the collection of interconnected computers that powers the internet and facilitates the transfer of information and emails. They do work together side by side. You must connect to the internet to access the World Wide Web. They both need each other.

The creator of World Wide Web, Tim Berners-Lee, is also the creator of the first website ever. He created it in 1991. The reason Berners invented this website, is because he wanted to share information explaining what the World Wide Web is and how to use it. The website also included how to create a web pages and hyper text. The website is still up until today. The link: http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html.

Hedy Lamarr was an austrian but she was an actress in hollywoods golden age. She developed the idea of bluetooth and wi-fi in 1941 and now it's used by everyone around the world until this day. Unfortunately, Hedy didn't gain money from her invention but she is given credit. Johnny Depp and Jeff Beck wrote a song about Hedy Lamarr, titled "This Song Is For Miss Hedy Lamarr". The reason they wrote this song about her because they felt that she was not credited enough on her inventions and people didn't believe in her because she was "pretty"

Jaap C.Haartsen is the inventor of bluetooth. He created it in 1994. Though bluetooth phones started selling in 2001. Jim Kardach introduced the name bluetooth. The reason why he thought of that name, because in the year 958, a king named Harald Bluetooth, ruled Denmark and Norway and had a blue colored tooth. How the name and the king are related is because the king united two countries and bluetooth was made to unite two devices. The logo is the initials of King Harald Bluetooth. The H and B are combined together.

The real inventor of Wi-fi was Hedy Lamarr. Wi-fi was developed in 1997 by Vic Hayes. The name Wi-fi wasn't the first named created for it. It was originally named "The Standard for Wireless Fidelity." A marketing firm created that name for it because they needed a user friendly name for people to use in 1997.
